Castro Village is a famous district in San Francisco, a place with lots of stories about the hippy life, civil rights and social activists and other civil freedom movements in the 70s and 80s. Architecture of the houses with their typical roofs is interessant. Cafes, theaters and graffiti and murals adorn the place. It is only half an hour from the city center by tram.

Castro Village es un famoso barrio en San Francisco, un lugar con un montón de historias sobre la vida hippy, derecho civil y luchadores sociales y otros movimientos civiles por la libertad de los años 70 y 80.  La arquitectura de las casas con sus techos típicos es interesante. Cafeterías, teatros y graffitis y murales embellecen el lugar. Es un sólo media hora de la ciudad de centro en tranvía.
